It is with great sadness that we announce Ruth Dunlap’s death at the age of 79 on January 22, 2022. Ruth grew up in Wohlen, a small agricultural municipality within Switzerland until her teenage years where she set out on her own path. Working through England, and New Zealand to name a few, she eventually reached the United States of America where Ruth’s adventurous spirit continued to make the most out of life. She traveled all over the country on motorcycles with her then husband Charles Dunlap until 1972 where they bought a house in Carmichael, CA. Over the next 50 years, that house bore witness to the birth, and growth of two son’s, an attempt at auctioneering and many fond memories. Throughout her life, Ruth built strong friendships with people from all walks of life through her blunt words, and soft heart; she would say what needed to be said while being the shoulder you needed to sturdy yourself on. The world got a bit dimmer on January 22, 2022, but remains bright from the 79 years the world was lucky enough to have her. Ruth, you are loved by so many and will be missed by all - Rest in Peace
