Walker B Robinett, born on January 1, 1919 in Yuma, AZ and went to the Lord March 17, 2012 at his home in Citrus Heights, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Robinett, of 71 years. He is survived by daughters Patricia Robinett and Janelle Robinett, son Michael Robinett, 4 grandsons and 7 great grandchildren.
Walker was born in Yuma, AZ; came to California at the age of 17 to farm with his father. He met and married Ellen at the First Baptist Church in Tulare, CA. Walker farmed and worked in agriculture based businesses most of his life. Family and Church were the center of his life. He was a master gardener and enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with others. Walker loved the Lord, was selfless, loving, kind, an example for all he touched.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628 at 12:00 P.M. Reception with be held at the home of the Robinett’s at 7716 Kensington Dr. , Citrus Heights, CA
