William Paul Clark, Sr., age 58, of Antelope, California, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 19th, 2025.
William “Will” was born on January 11, 1967, in Fremont, California, to the late Paul and Rose Mary Clark. Will was a proud member of the Walker River Paiute Tribe. He grew up in Fremont, California; Carson City, Nevada; Union City, California; and Rancho Cordova, California. It was in Rancho Cordova where he met the love of his life, Dorothy. They settled in Antelope, California, where they raised their family, children William, Jr., Crystal and Alicia.
Will served in the Army National Guard and was a proud veteran. After serving in the Army, he worked as a truck driver for 30 years. He worked for ten years at the Applegate Trucking Company, and the last 20 years at Ace Hardware, where he retired. He was a dedicated and hard-working employee, known for his willingness to help, friendliness and going above and beyond to help a customer.
Will was known for his generosity, outgoing and joyful nature, sense of humor, kindness, willingness to help, and compassion for those less fortunate. Will never knew a stranger, and sometimes invited people home who needed a helping hand. He enjoyed traveling, going to football games to watch his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders, concerts, and hosting backyard barbecues for family and friends. Will had a strong Christian faith, and raised his family attending the Family Gospel Center church. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events, and school performances. He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Treyton, who he affectionately called “Snoopy.”
Words cannot describe the loss of our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle, cousin, and friend. His legacy of loving and helping others without judgment, his strong Christian faith, and his love and devotion to family is something we all strive for.
Will is survived by his wife, Dorothy Louise (Reed) Clark, son William Paul Clark, Jr. (Cassey), Crystal Marie Funny (Ryan), Alicia Michelle Sparkman (Jason), and seven grandchildren; siblings Dan Mosley (Rhonda), Pam Metcalf (Elwood), John Mosley (Mary), Joseph Mosley, Margaret Robinson (Conrad), Marie Dave, and Thomas Clark; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Will is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Rose Mary (Mitchell) Clark, sister Karen Manriquez, and nephews Jeremiah Wootton and Dustin Dave.
