Abelardo Moreno, 60, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on September 16, 1952 to Amadeo Moreno and Flor Marina Martinez Moreno in Falfurrias, Texas. Abel worked for many years as an orderly for the Brooks County Hospital and his main hobby was fishing whenever possible. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his three brothers, Amadeo Moreno, Jr. of Falfurrias, Texas, Armando (Rosalinda) Moreno of San Juan, Texas and Agapito (Nelda) Moreno of Falfurrias, Texas; sister, Yolanda E. Moreno of Laredo, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.
Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
