Alberto Longoria

Alberto Longoria passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 in Riviera, Texas at the age of 49. He was born on August 10, 1967 to Juan De Dios Longoria and Olga Pena Longoria in Falfurrias, Texas. Albert enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman who loved being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan De Dios Longoria; paternal grandparents, Paz Longoria, Sr. and Carolina Longoria Trevino; maternal grandparents; Noe Pena, Sr. and Concepcion Soliz Pena and brother, Juan Jose Longoria; uncles, Robelin, Roel, Rodolfo, Ramiro and Hector Longoria and Ricardo Lamar “Wino” Trevino; aunt, Adalberta Barrera; cousins, Pedro “PT” Barrera, Jr., Carline “Carol” Longoria, Raudel Perez and Rolando Longoria.

Albert is survived by his wife; Mary Cabello Longoria of Falfurrias; three sons, Alberto Longoria, Jr. of Alice, Texas, Jesus Manuel Longoria of Falfurrias and Santiago Vertiz of Falfurrias; two daughters, Samantha (Josue) Amaya Longoria of Brownsville, Texas and Jasmine Cabello of Falfurrias; special niece who he raised, Amanda Cabello of Falfurrias; mother, Olga P. Longoria of Falfurrias; three brothers, Paz (Lucy) Longoria, Noe Longoria and Reynaldo Longoria all of Falfurrias; sister, Eldaena Longoria of Falfurrias; five grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Paz Longoria, Jr., Carlos Barrera, Raul Barrera, Robelin Longoria, Miguel Gonzalez, Joe Robert Hernandez, Noe Longoria, Jr., Jesus M. Longoria, Alberto Longoria, Jr. and Santiago Vertriz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Juan De Dios Longoria, Joe Isaac Perez and Matthew Longoria.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
