Angelita B. Johnson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the age of 68. She was born on April 26, 1949 to Jose M. Barrientez and Estefania Quintanilla Barrientez in Premont, Texas where she remained a lifelong member of the Premont community. Angelita was a housewife and homemaker. She loved to cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Johnson and two sisters, Monica Torres and Irma Barrientez. She is survived by her two sons, Horacio Phillips of Tyler, Texas and Albert Phillips of Premont, Texas; daughter, Lily (Nas) Sallam of Premont, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many extended family members.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Premont Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams of Falfurrias, your Dignity Memorial provider.
