

Arnulfo P. Corvera entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 79. He was born on October 14, 1935 to Urvano and Josefina Corvera in Sanchez, Roman, Mexico. Arnulfo served in the United States Army as a PFC from 1959 to 1961 and then after being honorably discharged he became a Machinist for Wisconsin Steel for over 18 years of his life before he became a Mechanic. He loved working on all different kinds of work like electrical and carpentry. He was a good husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed racing cars and restoring historic vehicles. He had a passion for helping his children in any way that he could. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he even helped in raising them. Arnulfo was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his parents and his brothers, Luis and Pancho Corvera.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of over 53 years; Consuelo Reyes Corvera of Falfurrias; two sons, Arnulfo Reyes Corvera and Luis Corvera both of Falfurrias; daughter, Ana Bertha Corvera Perez (Lamar Villa) of Falfurrias; three brothers; two sisters; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.
