Aurora Aurelia Lopez entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 22, 2024 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 52. She was born September 25, 1971 to Antonio G. Lopez and Barbarita Castaneda Lopez in Falfurrias, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbarita C. Lopez; son, Dace James Smith and grandson, Byron A. Casanova.
Aurora leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be treasured by her husband, Jaime Gonzalez of Corpus Christi; children, Mychael Lozano of Corpus Christi; Jazmin (Derek Gallagher) Lopez of Corpus Christi, Stephanie (Jonathan Smiley) Salinas of Alice, Texas and Madalynn Diaz of Springtown, Texas; father, Antonio G. Lopez of Hebbronville, Texas; sisters, Maria Irma (Jim) Dittmer of Troy, Texas, Diana Leonor (Leo Gonzalez) Lopez of Alice and Susana Alejandra Lopez of Hebbronville; four grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
Memorial Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. with Visitation starting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
