Baldemar Q. Palacios

Baldemar Q. Palacios, age 79, of Premont, Texas was received by our Holy Father on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Balde was born on April 15, 1934 to Antonio Palacios and Leonieres Quintana Palacios in Premont, Texas. He worked for Premont ISD as a Janitor for over 14 years until his retirement. Balde was welcomed into Heaven by the embrace of the loving arms of the Lord; his two sisters, Dominga and Petra Palacios and brother, Santos Palacios.

He leaves behind to cherish the wonderful memories his loving wife of 55 years, Lydia A. Palacios of Premont; his children, Baldemar (Melinda) Palacios, Jr. and Annabel P. (Rudy) Garcia both of Premont, Jose Antonio “Tony” (Margaret) Palacios of Alice, Texas, Elma P. (Joe) Trevino of Portland, Texas and Ricardo Palacios (Monica) of Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Baldemar’s grandsons, Jason Palacios, Rudy Garcia, Antonio Palacios, Xavier Palacios, Aaron Palacios, Paco Trevino, Marcos Trevino, Tomas Trevino, Justin Palacios and Sebastian Palacios. Honorary Pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Clarissa Garcia, Jana Palacios and Jaelyn Palacios.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont.

Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
