Dolores Lopez

Dolores Lopez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her residence in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 90. She was born on February 3, 1927 to Carlos Martinez Richard and Dora Cavazos in Laredo, Texas. Dolores began working as a bookkeeper in Laredo and later went on to work for a local construction firm in Hebbronville. She also loved being a substitute teacher at the high school.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Lopez; son, Guillermo Lopez and brother, Oscar Martinez. Dolores leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories her children, Rufino (Dan Kuhl) Lopez of Ennis, Texas, Marta (Ralph W.) Barrera of Laguna Vista, Texas, Jorge Lopez of Hebbronville, Berta (Eugenio) Quintanilla of Hebbronville and Oscar (Toni) Lopez, Jr. of Austin, Texas; siblings, Roberto Martinez of Houston, Texas and Judith Palmeros Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Rafael Barrera, Brian Barrera, Andrea Quintanilla, Anthony Quintanilla, Brandon Lopez and Christopher Lopez and great-grandchildren, Troy Barrera, Cade Lopez, Cameron Kuhl and Bryson Kuhl.

Pallbearers will be Rafael Barrera, Brian Barrera, Andrea Quintanilla, Anthony Quintanilla, Brandon Lopez and Christopher Lopez.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Laredo.
