Elizabeth Abigail Salinas

Elizabeth “Liz” Abigail Salinas, 52, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Elizabeth was born on November 2, 1959 to David B. Garcia and Elva Morales Garcia in Brooks County. She was a devoted housewife who supported everyone she knew and loved. Liz was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved to dance, cook and spend time with her family. Liz enjoyed watching episodes of I Love Lucy and Snapped and was dedicated to watching her boys rope and rodeo and she loved the western ranch lifestyle. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Moises M. Garcia; and nephew, Joseph Copeland.

She is survived by her husband, Aureliano Salinas, Sr.; two sons, Primitivo (Norma) Salinas and Aureliano, Jr. (Alyssa Luna); a daughter, Elva Aurora Salinas all of Falfurrias, TX; a brother, Samuel (Palmira) Garcia of Falfurrias, TX; two sisters, Dalila (James) Copeland of Fort Worth, TX, and Clelia (Norman, Jr.) Trevino of Falfurrias, TX; a granddaughter, Miranda Abigail Salinas of Falfurrias, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be; Samuel Garcia, Norman Trevino, Jr., Eugenio Garcia, Jr. “Duke”, Luis Ramirez, Adrian Trevino, J.C. Copeland, Albert Galindo, Jonah Copeland, Jeremiah Copeland, Ariel Salinas, Trey Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Jr., and Goyo Escalante.
