Fidel Marquez

Fidel Marquez entered eternal rest on Friday, February 7, 2025 at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas at 78 years of age. He was born on March 11, 1946 to Benito Marquez Sr. and Victoriana Gamez Marquez in Hebbronville, Texas .

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Hector Mario Marquez.

Fidel leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by his loving wife, Estella Marquez of Hebbronville; children, Veronica (Luis) Garcia of Kingsville, Texas, Cynthia (Guillermo) Nilo of Houston, Texas and Fidel (Alyssa) Marquez Jr. of Houston, Texas; siblings, Esperanza Marquez, Elvira Marquez, Benito Marquez Jr. all of Hebbronville and Herminia (Valentin) Colunga of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter- in-law, Jeannie Marquez; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Luis Garcia, Willie Nilo, Gabriel Garcia, Luis Garcia III, Willie Nilo Jr. and Fidel Marquez Jr.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Divine Mercy Chaplet to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
