

Filiberto Valderas passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 58. He was born on October 1, 1956 to Jose Carlos Valderas and Ella Vela in Hebbronville, Texas. He was the Vice President for the Border Drifters. Filiberto is preceded in death by his father, Jose Carlos Valderas and his brother, Jose Carlos Valderas, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Filiberto (Glenda) Valderas, Jr. of Hebbronville, Juan Antonio (Jo Ann) Valderas of Ben Bolt, Texas and Carlos Elias (Shay) Valderas of California; his mother, Ella V. Garcia of Hebbronville; brother, Ramiro Valderas of Hebbronville, sisters, Dalia Hernandez of McAllen, Texas, Alma Valderas of Hebbronville and Nellie Munoz of Corpus Christi, Texas; 12 grandchildren Onieda, Filiberto III, Joe Anthony, Aissa, Kaylin, Karina, Jayden, Nissa, Anabella and Mathew Christopher Valderas, Estephanie and Christian Rene Cano and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kaylin Valderas, Felipe Ruiz, Jaime “Indio” Perez, Tommy “#1” Soliz, Uvaldo Flores, Jr., Jesus “Iceman” Ramirez and Bud Ruiz.
Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Faith Life Christian Church in Hebbronville.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Faith Life Christian Church.
Interment will follow at New Hebbronville Cemetery.
