She is preceded in death by her father, Eduardo E. Garza, and her brother, Eduardo E. Garza, Jr.
Diana was born in Harlingen, Texas and raised in Hebbronville, Texas, where she graduated from Hebbronville High School in 1977.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in education with certifications in Bilingual Education and Art Education from Texas A&I University. Her career as an elementary school teacher was spent in McAllen ISD, Corpus Christi ISD, and Goose Creek ISD, Baytown, Texas.
Diana was a vibrant force of energy, radiating love and kindness to all around her. Family held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.
She leaves behind her husband, Romeo Ronquillo, and their beloved son, Ryan Leonardo Ronquillo.
Diana is also survived by her mother, Minerva Montalvo Garza, her sister, Patricia Garza Villarreal (Arthur), her brother, Eduardo M Garza, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all miss her dearly.
Diana will always be remembered for her unwavering love, infectious laughter, and warm spirit. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville.
