Guadalupe P. Vasquez entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 16, 2015 at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 91. She was born on December 9, 1923 to Natividad Perez and Elena Flores Perez in La Parrita, Brooks County, Texas. Guadalupe was a housewife who was very kindhearted and loving. Her son was her pride and joy and meant the world to her. Guadalupe was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents; her husband, Manuel Vasquez, Jr. and her three brothers, Teodoro, Eulogio and Ruben Perez. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her only child, Robelin Vasquez of Falfurrias; her brother, Elias F. Perez, Sr. and his wife Angelita M. Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams with visitation to beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Los Olmos Cemetery in Brooks County.
