Hector M. Valdez, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 6, 2026, at a hospital in Laredo, Texas, at the age of 68. He was born on August 4, 1957, to Alejandro Valdez and Herminia Ramirez Valdez in Alice, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Felipe Valdez.
Hector leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his children, Frances Marie Valdez, and Ivan Javier Valdez both of Laredo, and Alejandro Valdez of California; siblings, Noelia (+Facundo) Moncivais of Corpus Christi, Texas, Maria Ester (Alfredo) Montalvo of Davis, California, and Romeo (Ana) Valdez of Laredo; two grandchildren, Jessie Bryand Jr., and Amaya Marie Bryand.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026 starting at 8:30 a.m. with Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
