Jesus M. Alaniz

Jesus M. Alaniz, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by his family at a nursing home in Hebbronville, Texas, at the age of 81. He was born on May 7, 1944 in Duval County, Texas to Trinidad Alaniz and Estela Guerra Alaniz.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad Sr. and Estela Alaniz; son, Faustino Alaniz Sr.; daughter Rebecca Alaniz; mother of his children, Linda Alaniz, and great-grandson, Angel Trinidad Alaniz.

He leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his sons, Jesus (Margarita) Alaniz of Hebbronville, Felipe Alaniz and Mark Cruz of Realitos, TX; daughters, Elizabeth (German) Juarez, Gracie (Ezequiel) Orocio, Maricela (Salvador) Nunez all of Dallas, TX, Katy (Gabby) Perez of Realitos, Norma Garcia of Kerrville, TX, and daughter-in-law, Denise (+Faustino) Alaniz of Corpus Christi, TX; 6 bonus children; siblings, Edwardo Alaniz, Adela Alaniz, Trinidad Alaniz Jr., Jose Luis Alaniz, Alfredo Alaniz and Gloria Gonzalez; 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 14 bonus grandchildren;

Pallbearers will be Faustino Alaniz Jr., Bryan Alaniz, Jessica Alaniz, Nathan Perez, Jose Alaniz, and Azael De La Rosa.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.

A celebration of life will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Realitos Cemetery.
