Jose Rafael Hinojosa, born August 28, 1928, age 83, of San Antonio passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Mr. Hinojosa was preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Zelfa Hinojosa; brother, Alonzo Ovidio Hinojosa; sisters, Dubelza Medina and Ilsa Almaraz. Jose is survived by his wife of 61 years, Estella Hinojosa; daughter, Iris Gutierrez and husband, Mel; son, Jose M. Hinojosa and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Brian I Gutierrez, Thomas C. Gutierrez, Jose A. Hinojosa, Esteban M. Hinojosa and Gina G. Hinojosa; brothers and sisters, Odilia Wong, Orlando Ruben Hinojosa, Alvar Salinas, Mario Hinojosa, Maricela Hinojosa, Israel Hinojosa and Robert Hinojosa.
Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Friday, March 16, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville
Funeral Mass will be celebrate at 10am Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church
Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
