Juanita J. Naranjo

Juanita Jaimez Naranjo entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at a hospital in Dallas, Texas at the age of 93. She was born on May 16, 1922 to Eugenio Jaimez Sr. and Hortencia Ortiz Jaimez in Cotulla, Texas. Juanita worked for many years as bookkeeper for Vela’s Flower Shop until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raul B. Naranjo, Sr. and all her sisters. She is survived by her four sons, Raul (Jeanette) Naranjo Jr. of La Porte, Texas, Rene Naranjo, Sr. of Dallas, Roland Naranjo of San Antonio and Ruben Naranjo of Dallas; one daughter, Berta Naranjo of Dallas; brother, Eugenio (Elvita) Jaimez, Jr. of Laredo, Texas; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Andrew Naranjo, Brandon Naranjo, Kevin Naranjo, Raul Naranjo, III, Stevie Puente and Rene Naranjo, Jr.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
