Mrs. Leovilda R. Rivera Villarreal

Leovilda R. Villarreal, 69, passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2010 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on April 6, 1940 to Juan and Lilia Garza Rivera in Falfurrias, Texas. Leovilda worked for many years as a Bank Teller for the First National Bank of Falfurrias. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She always had a welcoming smile and was like a mother to all those she knew and loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Mario Rivera and great-grandson Jaime Mata. She is survived by her husband Humberto Villarreal Sr. of Falfurrias, TX, children Christobal (Ninfa C.) Villarreal of Corpus Christi , TX , Humberto (Marissa) Villarreal Jr. of Falfurrias, TX and Kristina (Mark) Villarreal of Harlingen, TX, sisters Viola (the late Eli) Carrales of Premont, TX, Edelmira (David Sr.) Trevino of Kingsville, TX and Dianna (Pedro) Villarreal of Alice, TX, sister-in-law Lydia Rivera of Alice, TX, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 12, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation starting at 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 13, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.

Pallbearers will be nephews David Ruben Trevino, Jr., Ricardo Rene Trevino, Jorge Luis Carrales, Steve Carrales, Jaime Villarreal and Javier Villarreal.
