Lino Moreno Jr., age 74, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on December 5, 1951, to Lino Moreno and Margarita Rios Moreno in Rios, Texas.
Lino was a hardworking man who dedicated many years of his life to CC Pump Services and was also known for his skills as a mechanic and rancher. A true jack-of-all-trades, he took pride in providing for his family, a responsibility he carried with love and quiet strength throughout his life.
Those who knew Lino will remember his laid-back personality, his warm smile, and his ability to turn any moment into laughter. He enjoyed raising roosters, working on vehicles, dancing, and listening to music. He loved gathering with friends and family, especially around the barbecue pit or fire, where stories were shared and memories were made. Weekends were made special by the menudo he lovingly prepared alongside his wife, a tradition that brought comfort, laughter, and togetherness for his family.
Lino is now reunited in Heaven with his wife of over 50 years, Rebecca Ann Moreno; parents, Lino Moreno Sr. and Margarita Moreno Peralta; stepfather, Nato Peralta; brothers, Jose Luis Moreno, Demetro Moreno, Ricardo Moreno, and Arnoldo Moreno, niece, Gregoria Cavazos; nephews, Jaime Moreno Jr., Allen Paul Moreno, and JJ Moreno; and sisters-in-law, Nieves Moreno and Odeen Moreno.
