Lucia S. Sanchez Gonzalez

Lucia S. Gonzalez, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at a nursing home in Alice, Texas. She was born on July 31, 1936 to Antonio Sanchez and Leonor Gonzalez Sanchez in La Copita, Texas. She was a housewife. Lucia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Domingo Gonzalez and three sisters, Patricia S. Basaldua, Librada S. Garcia and Ana S. Arevalo. She is survived by her two brothers, Guadalupe Sanchez of Elsa, TX and Jose Sanchez of Falfurrias, TX; two sisters, Juanita S. Mireles and Ofelia S. Lemus both of Falfurrias, TX; aunt, Guadalupe Guerra and numerous nieces and nephews including a few special nieces and nephews, Rodolfo S. Garcia of Premont, TX, Maria Lucia S. Perez of Premont, TX, Rafael S. Garcia of Odessa, TX, Rosaria S. Garcia of Uvalde, TX and Juan Luis S. Garcia of Premont, TX.

Rosary will be recited on at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Arevalo Family Cemetery in Brooks County.
