Maria Ofelia Villarreal, 95, passed away peacefully at her residence in Guerra, Texas on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was born on September 16, 1918 to Antonio Villarreal Santos and Matilde Gomez Villarreal at the Rancho Colorado in Guerra, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, San Juana Villarreal, Alfredo Villarreal, Sr., Erasmo Villarreal, Sr., Delia Villarreal and Juventino Villarreal and her nephew, Roberto Villarreal. She is survived by her two nephews, Alfredo (Dora) Villarreal, Jr. of Guerra and Erasmo (Elizabeth) Villarreal, Jr. of Laredo, Texas; grandnephew, Christopher; four grandnieces, Yvonne, Jessica, Linda and Lizette and her great-grandniece, Sophia.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville at 1:00 p.m. Services will conclude with a Burial at the Guerra Cemetery in Guerra, Texas.
