Mateo G. Gonzalez, 72 passed away March 27, 2014 in Laredo hospital. He was born on January 21, 1942 in Aguilares, Tx. to Manuel and Hortencia G. Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Marcos Gonzalez; brother Juan Jose Gonzalez; sisters Yolanda Hernandez and Agripina Ramirez. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Teresa G. Gonzalez of Pearsall, Tx.; sons, Richard A. (Rubie) Gonzalez of Freer, Tx., Mateo G. Gonzalez Jr. of Pearsall, Tx., Gerardo (Jessica) Lopez of Hebbronville and Gabriel (San Juana) Lopez of Bruni; daughters, Gracie (Manuel) Rodriguez of Waco, Tx., Mary Isabel (Rudy) Saldana of Carrizo Springs, Tx., and Ana Maria (Mario) Alarcon of Minnesota; brothers, Antonio Gonzalez of Oilton, Tx., Jose Luis Gonzalez of Bruni and Tomas Gonzalez of Devine, Tx.; sisters, Maria Elena Navarro of Laredo and Hermelinda Lopez of Hebbronville; 28 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild
