Mollie Ruth Munoz

Mollie Ruth Jackson Munoz entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 60. She was born on August 9, 1960 to Herschel B. Jackson and Effie Joe Lee Jackson in Sinton, Texas. Mollie worked for many years with the office staff of Dr. O’Ryan in Falfurrias, Texas as well as for the Billing and Administration Department of Christus Spohn Kleberg Hospital in Kingsville, Texas. She then retired to care for her family at home and enjoyed doll collecting, sewing and baking cakes in her spare time.

Mollie was welcome into Heaven by her father, Herschel Jackson; sons, Jeremy Paul Munoz and Michael Munoz; granddaughters, Tracey Munoz, Deandra Munoz and Madilyn Munoz and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ortiz Munoz.

She is survived by her husband, Mario Munoz of Premont, Texas; daughter, Effie (Hilbert) Arrellano of Falfurrias; sons, Jamey Lee (Michelle Ortiz) Munoz of Kingsville, Mario (Melissa) Munoz, Jr. of Falfurrias and Mark Anthony Munoz of Corpus Christi; mother, Effie Joe Jackson of Falfurrias; brother, Herschel B. (Piper) Jackson, Jr. of Donna, Texas; sister, Raylene (Keith) Elder of Boerne, Texas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, newphews, extended family members and friends.

Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
