Olesia “Bole” Longoria Garcia entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 18, 2024 at a hospice center in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 93. She was born on March 3, 1931 to Guilebaldo Longoria and Estefanita Garza Longoria in Falfurrias, Texas. Bole was a very loving and sweet individual with a helpful heart gentle soul. She loved to cook and tend to her plants. Family was so important to her and cherished every minute she spent with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leovigildo G. Garcia; son, Leovijildo Garcia; daughter, Dolores (Mario) Zapata; grandson, Adrian Garcia; great-great-granddaughter, Genesis Nevaeh Johnson; brothers, Bildo Longoria, Manuel Longoria, Donaciano Longoria, Robert Longoria and Adan Longoria and sisters, Adolia “Lala” Galindo, Elva Lozano and Nilda Navarro.
She is survived by her children, Arnoldo (Hermelanda) Garcia, Armando (Mary Jane) Garcia and Vilma (Alfonso) Montoya all of Houston, Texas; brothers, Guile Longoria Jr. of Corpus Christi, and David Longoria of Falfurrias; sister, Imelda Longoria of Corpus Christi; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
