Orlando Perez

Orlando “Lando” Perez passed away at his home in Falfurrias, Texas on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the age of 53. He was born on August 29, 1964 to Acencion Rodolfo Perez and Juanita Garza Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. Lando was a Mechanic his entire lifetime and worked on and off for many years for J. DeLeon’s Body Works and Don Perez Auto in Falfurrias. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Lando is preceded in death by his father; his grandmother, Cruz G. Garza and his uncle, Pedro Garza. He is survived by his mother, Juanita G. (Saturnino Vasquez) Perez; wife, Marivel L. Perez; three sons, Orlando Javier (Jasmine) Perez, Orlando (Jessica) Perez, II and Aaron Lee Perez; daughter, Samantha Renee Trevino; sister, Velma Ann (Danny Newman) Perez all of Falfurrias, Texas; four grandchildren and one on the way; companion, Angelica Castillo of Falfurrias and numerous extended family members. Pallbearers will be Casimiro Martinez, II, Carlos Javier Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Orlando Javier Perez, Orlando Perez, II and Aaron Lee Perez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Samantha Rene Trevino, Leandra Martinez and Danny Newman. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
