Oscar Lopez

Oscar Lopez, 87, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at a Hebbronville Nursing Home. He was born on October 31, 1924 to Salome Lopez and Crisanta Canales Lopez in Laredo, TX. He was a rancher all his life and retired after 25 years from the Texas Highway Dept. He is preceded in death by his son Guillermo Lopez. Oscar is survived by his wife Dolores Lopez of Hebbronville, sons Rufino (Dan) Lopez of Gatesville, TX, Jorge Lopez of Hebbronville and Oscar (Toni) Lopez of Austin, daughters Marta (Ralph) Barrera of Laguna Vista, TX and Berta (Geno) Quintanilla of Hebbronville, sister Elma Salinas of Laredo, 6 grandchildren Rafael and Brian Barrera, Andrea and Anthony Quintanilla, Brandon and Christopher Lopez.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville, with burial following at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, in Laredo, TX.
