Pablo Almendarez Sr.

Pablo Almendarez Sr., 67, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his residence in Cedar Creek, Texas. Pablo was born on December 29, 1943 to Gregorio Almendarez and Maria Salinas Almendarez in Falfurrias, Texas. Pablo was a Ranch Hand for the Star and Cage Ranches for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Merida C. Almendarez and brother Gregorio Almendarez Jr. He is survived by his sons Pablo (Veronica) Almendarez Jr. of Robstown, TX and Gabriel Almendarez of Cedar Creek, TX, daughter Erlinda Almendarez of Tennessee, brothers Eduardo Almendarez of Corpus Christi, TX, Reynaldo (Isabel) Almendarez of Plainview, TX and Noe Almendarez of Alice, Texas, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
