Regino D. Longoria Jr.

Regino D. Longoria, Jr., 79, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at a hospita in Corpus Christi. Regino was born November 20, 1934 to Regino M. and Bernarda Diaz Longoria in the town of Falfurrias, Texas. He was an Engineer-architect before his retirement. Regino was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Andrew Keith Rhodes. He is survived by two sons Luis X. Longoria, Sr. of Falfurrias and Regino "Reggie" Longoria, III of Premont, Texas; four daughters, Leticia Longoria of Astoria, OR, Gabriela (Enrique) Johnson of Falfurrias, Sylvia L. (Larry) Castillo of Angleton, Texas and Hilda (John) Longoria-Curry of Corpus Christ. He is also survived by three brothers Jesus and Jose Longoria both of Falfurrias and George Longoria of Kilgore, Texas, seven sisters, Paulita Villarreal and Elena Medrano both of Premont, Elva Garcia, Esmeralda Gutierrez, Graciela Morales and Nellie Cantu all of Falfurrias and Adela Garcia of Ozona, Texas, sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Surviving are also numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
