Richard Williams McCall passed from this world on June 5, 2016 following his battle with cancer. Born in Falfurrias, Texas on May 21, 1954 to Ernest Charles McCall, Jr. and Willie Belle McCall, Richard served in the United States Marine Corps before beginning a career as a highly skilled offshore welder and vehicle logistics specialist.
He is survived by his daughter Tesha Ann McCall, grandsons Lance and Logan, sister Joan McCall Murphy and husband Pat, brothers Ernest C. McCall III and Raymond A. McCall and his wife Vicky and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was a licensed airplane pilot whose other interests included football and riding his beloved Harley Davison motorcycle. All of these paled in comparison though to his love for spending time with his family specifically his “Tesha” and his grandsons Lance and “LO-GAN!”. His infectious smile, piercing eyes and boisterous laugh were his hallmarks and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m.
