Sandra Paiz Herrera entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 66. She was born on December 20, 1957 to Armando Paiz and Minerva Castaneda Paiz in Bruni, Texas.
Sandra devoted her life to teaching and moulding the community youth with Jim Hogg County ISD and Webb County ISD.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Armando Paiz, Jr. and the father of her children, Leonel Herrera, Sr.
She leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by many, but especially by her sons, Leonel Amado Herrera, Jr. and Roberto Romeo Herrera both of Hebbronville, Texas; brothers, Amando Paiz of Bruni and Arnoldo Paiz of Austin, Texas; sisters, Sylvia Palacios of Bruni and Janie Saenz of Giddings, Texas; grandchildren, Liana Anai Herrera, Leonel Amado Herrera, III, Nayeli Renee Herrera, Roberto Romeo Herrera, Jr., Gerardo Romeo Herrera and Rolando Roel Herrera.
Pallbearers will be Leo Herrera, Jr., Leo Herrera, III, Arnold Paiz, Roberto Herrera, Jr., Paul Ruiz and Joel Ruiz.
Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
