Will was an extraordinary person that went above and beyond for his family. He would always stop to? visit his uncle (my father) in Houston' never forgot about us. When hurricane Katrina I remember him bringing generators for the cousins since we didn't have any power, He convinced his uncle to go to Premont until everything got restored. Thank you for everything you did for us and the family. God bless Melba, Diana, Santos, my aunt Otilia and all my cousins in their journey. You will be truly missed.

I first met Will on a coyote hunt in south Texas.  I was privileged to cross his path on several other trips.  I always found him happy, eager to visit about guns, hunting, and the outdoors.  He was a great guy!  My condolences to his family.  Rest in peace Will.  Don Simonson

Mr. Zelaya called me when he heard my husband, Ralph Valentien had died.  It was a short visit by phone.  He was a kind, caring person and I am so glad his entire family stopped by our home earlier this year and we had a nice visit.  I know what you all must be going thru.  There will be brighter days ahead for all of you.

Seven or eight years ago my dad introduced me to Will and we had the opportunity to spend a couple of days coyote hunting with him.  What a great, fun guy. Times I will never forget.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I first met Will 14 years ago in South Texas. I knew from his big smile and friendly manner that he was a great guy. It's been my pleasure over the years to have worked with him. Knowing Will and his family has for ever enriched my life. After suffering a loss myself Will and I spoke numerous times which was of great help. Will will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies go out to his entire family and the SWZ family. Everyone are in my prayers. "Ka nee ta tae da su nee" May your journey be quick. Rest in peace my friend.

Melva.. It was such a shock to hear of Will's passing. I am still trying to deal with the tragic news and I want you to know how very sorry I am. I have such fond memories of Will from our family gatherings at the ranch.What a great man,husband and father he was and your children are shining examples of the great job both of you did. They will always be a constant reminder of his love and influence on them. I pray that god will give you the strength to see you through this very sad and difficult time. Will was my favorite boss.  He was a great person, listened to our problems and did everything he could to help.  He was very intelligent and strived to do the very best in all things.  He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

I remember Will the best when he and my mother worked together in Falfurrias and later Premont when he was first getting SWZ Services started. My favorite memory of him was having rubber band wars in the office both of them worked together in when me and my younger siblings were there after school.

What a legacy this man leaves behind! He was always willing to give it all. He will be missed tremendously. I trust that the Lord will comfort you, Melba, and the children during this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
