Mr. Trinidad G. Perez

Trinidad G. Perez, 93, passed away Wednesday May 19, 2010 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas. Mr. Perez was born on November 26, 1916 to Doroteo Perez and Petra Garcia Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. He was employed by Mobil Oil for 33 years before his retirement in 1981.

Trinidad ‘Trino’ was born and grew up in the area South Texas ranches. His first love was the ranch, and he remained a vaquero throughout his life. He worked as a cowboy in many area ranches such as Mills Bennet Fields west of Falfurrias. He also worked at La Calosa, La India, and El Coyote ranches during the 1940’s. He was a loving father, brother, and son to all of his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Jose Trinidad Perez.

He is survived by his wife Rita Perez of Falfurrias, Texas, three sons Carlos Perez of Falfurrias, Texas, Noe (Kim) Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Aaron (Berlinda) Perez of Falfurrias, Texas, daughter Enedina (Oscar) Ramirez of Falfurrias, Texas, four brothers Natividad Perez of Shiner, Texas, Ysidoro Perez of Bruni, Texas, Manuel Perez and Adalberto “Jackie” Perez both of Falfurrias, Texas, a sister Petra Rodriguez of Falfurrias, Texas, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday May 21, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 22, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial following at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
