William "Bill" Prude, age 74, passed Sunday, January 26, 2014 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas. Bill, as he was known, was born December 7, 1939 to William Austin and Jane Rudd Prude in Waskom, Texas. He was a Ranch Foreman until his retirement. Before becoming a Ranch Foreman, Bill was a welder, but his dream had always been to work on a ranch. He loved horses and cattle. He lived life to the fullest and put all of himself into whatever he did. Bill loved his family and they all loved him. He instilled confidence in all because he himself had confidence. Old and young friends all cherished his company and learned from him that what you could see in the man was what he was. His heart was full of love. Bill and his family have been abundantly blessed by the Lord's Grace.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Juanita Prude and a great-grandson, Tucker Powers.
Bill is survived by his wife, Belinda Prude of Hebbronville, TX; four sons, Buff (Connie) Prude and Mike (Andree`) Prude both of Freeport, TX, James Baker-Prude of Houston, TX and Dane (Kodi) Prude of Freeport, TX; a daughter, Stacey (Randy) Jeffers of Iowa, LA; step-brother, Chris Grimmer of Midwest City, OK; two sisters, Loretta Hanson and Sherron Strobel both of Brazoria, TX; fourteen grandchildren, William, Ashley, Kylie, Tristan, Lindie, Haley, Zane, Frankki, Jeff, Torri, Victoria, Hunter, Lakyn and Amber and two great-grandchildren, Zoi-jane and Joseph.
