Candy was by far the best Supervisor/Instructor I've ever worked with at CTA. I was deeply saddened upon hearing of his passing. My condolences to his family and I greatly miss him. May God keep his family strengthen and encouraged and blessed

Heartfelt condolences to the Jimenez Family. I am honored to meet Norma, Laura, Adriana Candido's funeral services were finalized. I met Ricardo today, June 30, during final hours before the funeral party left for Mary Queen of Heaven Church. The acquaintance is just about a week, and I feel and share the grief. Rest in Peace....comfort to the family.

The American Legion will be left with a gap in our ranks. I am sorry for the families loss as well and I send my condolences. I'll be wearing my poppy as a remembrance of him and all my fellow veterans who have gone on to Post everlasting.

I was sorry when he retired and moved to Texas and now am really sorry knowing we won't be seeing him anymore. A truly good Post Commander and friend.

My brother and Candy went to school together. I met  him when he came to our  home. We dated and were married for three years. My brother-in-law, Jose  Sepulveda, was a bus driver for CTA and convinced Candy to apply. That was a great career move for him. I still have pictures of the military ball we attended and prom. My parents and family are saddened to know that he is gone so young. We have been praying rosaries for a peaceful rest. Our heartfelt condolences to his children and family.

My Deepest Condolences to Candido's Family . May he rest in Peace

My heart feels so empty right now I have lost a great friend, ex boyfriend and my puppy love. Ever since I came to the United States when my  mother died I was in love with Junior my first kisses was from him and when I went back to Mexico I always remembered him as my first love and you will always be the last. I guess will meet again in heaven and God will get us together again!! I LOVE YOU CANDIDO JIMENEZ AND ALWAYS WILL!!❤

My utmost respect to his memory... I can still hear him giving me all kinds of great advice, when employed at CTA. Will be surely missed. Prayers to his loved ones. May our Lord and savior fill their hearts with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.

I am at a loss for words on the death of my former co-worker and friend whom I affectionately called Candyman. I could always count on him to uplift my spirits after a grueling situation.  He was positive and funny. He was the ultimate professional as a bus instructor sharing his expereinces and knowledge with his students. I'll cherish our friendship. To the family embrace your memories so he will live on through you.  May Candy rest in perfect peace.

It saddened me tremendously to hear of Candi's passing. We were good friends and fellow band members in high school and we had recently re-connected through social media. We spoke of getting together some time to renew our friendship and talk about old times. My thoughts are with the family for strength during these sad times. No more suffering Candi. R.I.P.

Words cannot express the sadness we as a family feel at the death of Candido.  He was part of our family for a while and remembered fondly.  He loved to joke and laughed a lot.  One of those happy souls you meet.  Keep his memories in your heart.  May God give you Peace.
