It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Carlos Elvir on December 28, 2023. Beloved husband of Jonathan. Loving brother of Lourdes, Luis, Josue, and Gloria. Beloved uncle. To be fondly remembered as a faith leader in the United Methodist Church, in Chicago and Oak Park. A gifted minister and tenor blessed with beautiful songs, Carlos’s gentle manner and voice offered healing and peace.
The funeral will be on Saturday, January 20, at 12 PM Noon, at Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church - 405 S. Euclid Avenue - in Oak Park, Illinois.
