I was lucky enough to call Carmen my friend.   His smile, laughter, and just his presence made my day better. His heart was as big as can be, and his love for his family was was even bigger. Carmen was loved so well by so many people.  The memories that have been shared here about him are so wonderful.  I feel very fortunate for the times that I spent with your family witnessing the love that the three of you have for each other.  Rachel, I remember so vividly the times when I had the honor of watching you sing while with your mom and dad, and I would look over at both of them and see how proud they were of you and how your dad  looked like you were bringing him to tears of joy with every note you sang.  I can't imagine how difficult this has been for all of you.  My thoughts and love are with you both.

My Dearest Mary and Rachel, Carmen was one of the most charming, gracious and kindest gentleman I have ever known.  I admired his love for you and his beautiful and talented Rachel.  His patience, his kindness, his respect for all things good and beautiful was so wonderful to be around.  Every moment I spent with him I would always think this man is so special, I am so fortunate to know him.  I also know that he is at peace now.  We now have to find a way to go on without him. This will be the most difficult, but I will be with you all the way, love Sue

Through the years that I had the pleasure of knowing Carmen, we would talk about what a fine line everything in life is. How life can change in a second. Carmen you broke our hearts when you left but i promise i will honor your memory and good deeds as long as i live. I know you are in heaven pain free in gods presence and looking over all of us. I wont ever forget you carm and you have touched my life deeply. I love you and miss you .

Your husband , your father and our great friend made coming to work at the Exchange just plain FUN every single day.....to hear his laugh you couldn't help but want to join in on the fun , and Carmen let everyone in , thus lightening their load that particular day...and that was his special gift, one which we all will miss.. . Our prayers are with you and your family

There are many more great things about Carmen than a friend could write in a paragraph.I will most remember Carmen lovingly for his often smile,notable laugh and the warmth of his heart.A wonderful man and a joy to be around.May God Bless Carmen and his entire family.
