Hector Rodriguez

Hector Rodriguez was born to eternal life on November 23, 2025. Hector arrived with a spark that only grew brighter on November 22, 1975. Born in Chicago IL to Hector Rodriguez Ramos now deceased and Laura nee Ruiz.

Hector was a proud graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where he perfected the art of creativity, conversation, and turning friends into family members.

He leaves behind the loves of his life: his devoted wife, Claudia nee Medina; his beautiful children, Gina Marie, Hector Asiel, Matias Elian; each blessed with a piece of his warmth and wit. His loving mother Laura, his sister Margarita (Abel), his brother Rene (Mariana), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Hector learned early that life was meant to be lived loudly, laughed at often, and loved with full force. His genuine personality, spirited humor, and unfiltered honesty made him unforgettable. People gravitated to Hector, he was the friend who showed up, the light everyone noticed, and the soul everyone trusted.

Though he has left this world, his brightness hasn’t dimmed. It lingers in every story he inspired, every smile he sparked, and every life he warmed.

Hector lived big, loved big, laughed big, and he will be missed in exactly the same way.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 6th at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 48th Ct, Cicero IL 60804 for a 10:30 am Mass.

Family and friends will gather immediately following the mass on Saturday, December 6th at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7750 W Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130 for a Celebration of Life for Hector.
