Herbert J. Kimmel Jr., 73, passed away September 10, 2023. He was born in Rosebud, South Dakota. He graduated from Robert A. Waller in 1969. He enlisted in the United States Army and work at Hines VA Hospital. He received National Defense Service Medal. Army Commendation Medal and Marksman M16.
Herbert enjoyed reading books and writing. He will be best remembered for being a generous and giving man. He is survived by his son John D. Kimmel; grandson Anthony Lacy; siblings Chuck Kimmel, Mark Kimmel and Pamela Kimmel.
