Beloved father of Pedro, Jose Luis, Teresa, Gerardo, Maria, Alicia, Juan Antonio, Horacio and Gabriela. Cherished grandfather of 24 and one on the way; treasured great grandfather of 4.

Juan was a dedicated employee of the Palos Country Club Golf Course.

His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren; watching period films, history programs and cooking shows where he would get many ideas for cooking.

He will be best remembered for telling the best funny stories, being a playful grandfather and great grandfather; for being an example of being a good father. He was hard worker and did not let life bring him down easily. We will miss you very much, dad.

Visitation at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Prayers Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 9:30 am for a funeral mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 2401 S. 61st Ave., Cicero, IL.

Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, located at 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162, Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Juan M. González, nacido el 17 de junio de 1944 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, falleció el 14 de enero de 2026. Fue un amado esposo de María G. Hernández durante 58 años.

Amado padre de Pedro, José Luis, Teresa, Gerardo, María, Alicia, Juan Antonio, Horacio y Gabriela. Querido abuelo de 24 nietos y uno en camino; querido bisabuelo de 4 nietos.

Juan era un empleado dedicado del campo de golf Palos Country Club.

Su pasatiempo favorito era pasar tiempo con sus nietos; ver películas de época, programas históricos y programas de cocina, donde encontraba muchas ideas para cocinar.

Será recordado por contar las mejores historias divertidas, ser un abuelo y bisabuelo juguetón; por ser un ejemplo de buen padre. Fue un gran trabajador y no se dejó vencer fácilmente por la vida. Te extrañaremos mucho, papá.

El velorio se realizará en la Funeraria Woodlawn, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, el viernes 23 de enero de 2026, de 4:00pm a 8:00pm.

Las oraciones se realizarán el sábado 24 de enero de 2026 a las 9:30 h. La misa funeral se realizará a las 10:30 h en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Monte, 2401 S. 61st Ave., Cicero, IL.
