Luis was the first person we found when moving to the suburbs, we hired him right away.  He was a reliable and good man.   He always had a smile and a strong work ethic, he made peoples homes beautiful.  He will be missed by many.

Luis was a gentleman and professional.

This is a photo of Luis teaching me how to arrange and create  seasonal flower pots and seasonal flower beds at one of my clients for the very first time. I have done many seasonal flowers ever since thanks to him teaching me. He was a great mentor to me, he was the hardest worker that I have ever met, and the busiest guy I ever met, but he always made the time to talk to me, take a phone call, or to teach me something on one of his job sites. 

Thank you for being part of our special day but most important thank you for being part of our lives, you will be missed!!

Sin importar  tu edad nos mostraste  que eras una persona muy dedicada que tenías fijos tus objetivos en la vida y siempre los tenías en mente.Es una gran pérdida tu partida, que Dios te guarde en su gloria.
Siempre te mantendré vivo con los recuerdos que compartimos  juntos y con tu bella amistad que ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida por haber encontrado a un ángel que ahora retomo su vuelo al cielo donde siempre perteneciste.

I remember “Taz,” as a shy yet fun spirit. We became friends in High School; he was a family friend to my cousins, the friendship evolved into a closer bond with the entire family. I will always remember his smile, may he Rest In Peace.

Some people come into our lives to teach us a lesson on how to live.  Luis did that for me.  Always smiling, always looking forward, and always helping others. He was the definition of a heart of a gold. We shared with each other our ups and downs of our walks of life in a beautiful friendship of 10 years.  We shared tears but importantly we shared so much laughter.  
  
Luis had such a passion for his work and had huge goals in life. He was so humble that he never acknowledged his accomplishments and how far he had come.  Luis was a legend in the industry. He loved landscaping and loved flowers. Throughout the day I would get pictures of the beautiful flowers he was working with.  His legacy will continue in the beautiful landscapes and flowers I come across throughout my life. 

Luis loved his family. His little niece Mia and most importantly his son Louis. He always talked about him and how proud he was of the man he was becoming. The last day I saw him, his eyes were full of tears as if something was telling us it would be the last time we would see each other. He told me a story and told me how peaceful he felt knowing God exists.  The story tied into his son and how a message was left to him to take care of him.  His son will be ok because Luis will always be watching over him.

It was not your time Luis. 

Only God knows what angels walk the Earth and which he takes back up to heaven. I’m going to miss you. Watch over us until the day comes that we meet again. 



Salernos and Scalas are deeply sorry for your loss. Luis was a wonderful man and always willing to help.  I remember he was cutting our grass one day and stopped and sat with me and chatted about his son.  He loved his son…our deepest and heartfelt condolences to you all…our prayers are with you today and always 

No words how shocked and saddened I was to see this.  Let alone my entire family. Who over the last 2 years came to know Luis as the smiling, hard working landscaper, Christmas light decorator and lawn fixer.  He fixed damage done by 3 other services and was so proud of his work.  We talked about how we take pride in our day to day work and help expand our reach to help people in the community.  For a young man he was excpetional.  The best customer service we’ve ever had.  We pray for his soul and for his family and children.  Gone too soon. One of a kind.

I will always remember you from Gary School and Curie. Last time I saw you was at Banda M.S. Concert back in 2018 we were walking out and out of thousands of people nos toco de hombro a hombro, I remember saludandote y cotorreando. Este dolor es Grande para tu familia y amigos, Que Dios les de la paz hasta reunirse contigo un dia en el cielo.

Todavia te debo el CD de "Lil' Rob" que me prestaste en los dias de High School que se me perdio. Un dia te lo voy a dejar.

You’d work 7 days a week, and still find time to help out other guys/companies. It is very rare to come across someone like you in a lifetime. You and your amazing work will never be forgotten. It's hard to describe the type of man Luis was. In my brief time on earth, I have come across few people who worked harder at their craft than Luis. It didn't matter the day, the time, the weather...he always put his clients first. 
When I heard of Luis' passing, my family and I were shocked, saddened and felt a sense of emptiness. We all considered Luis a real friend. His smile was contagious and his passion was undeniable. 
As I write this, I am still thinking that Luis will text me or call me and this is all a bad dream. 
If there is ever any solitude, I will always look at any beautiful landscape and think of Luis. Thankfully, the world is full of this imagery and I will never forget my friend. 
May God Bless Luis and his family! 

Luis my friend no words can express my sadness. What does help me with this great loss is that I know you knew the Lord because we prayed together and often shared testimonies .
