September 24th, 1953 – August 28th, 2025
Mona Ta-Rhese Mandurano-Coutré, age 71, of Oak Park, IL, passed away peacefully on August 28th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Waukegan, IL, on September 24, 1953, Mona grew up in Oswego, NY, and devoted her life to service, compassion, and family. She was a Registered Nurse by profession and was widely respected for her unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. Her healing presence extended far beyond the clinical setting, as she was known among friends and family as a source of comfort, wisdom, and spiritual grounding. Whether through a thoughtful word, a calming presence, or a listening ear, Mona had an extraordinary ability to ease pain and lift spirits.
Mona was a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her life was defined by devotion to her family and home, quiet strength, and a profound ability to uplift those around her. Her quick wit and sharp sense of humor brought joy and levity, often when it was needed most.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Coutré; her children Mia Galloway, Micah and Paul Forrest, and Joshua & Kirsten Coutré; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers Donnie, and Mitch Mandurano, and her sister Deonn Clancy. She was preceded in death by her parents John Mandurano and Constance Chetney, her son Jonathan Forrest, her brothers Michael Mandurano and Jay Harmon, grandson Brian Gose II, and son-in-law Matthew Galloway.
A celebration of life will be held on October 26th, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM @ 2025 at Riverside Village Hall 27 Riverside Rd, Riverside, IL, 60546.
