Pamela M. Sumlin

Pamela was born to Joseph Anthony Longo and Mildred Irene Haderly in Chicago, Illinois, on February 17, 1950. She grew up in Chicago and graduated in 1967 from Morton High School. Upon graduating, she began her career with Sears & Roebuck Corporation where she met her future husband, Roger Sumlin. The two married in 1977 at Willowcreek Community Church.

They were happily married for 35 years until the passing of Roger on January 28, 2013.

Pamela is survived by her loving brother, Michael Longo (Sue); daughter, Sharon Mills (Micheal); grandchildren Aaron Mills, Morgan Taylor (Zach), and Robin Sumlin. She is survived locally by nieces Karen Pinkas and Tricia Luciano (Tony); nephew Terry Pinkas (Laura).

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Jo Pinkas.

Funeral services will be conducted by Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 2 - 6pm (service will be at 4pm).

Pamela will be laid to rest next to Roger in the Restwood Memorial Mausoleum in Clute, Texas.
