I was in the same graduating class as Bob.Knew him but not well.About 5 years ago re-connectred in a professional manner.He truly was a great success story and found him to be an even better person.Very sorry to haer of his passing.

 I am deeply saddened by the great loss of Bob.
 I pray that the blessing of all the love you shared together as a family sustain and comfort you during this difficult time and the days ahead. I pray the Lord hold all of you close to him as the Father HE is and you feel Bob's presence in our dear Lord's company right at your side.
Bob touched and made a difference in so many lives.
He gave his time to many groups that were important to him and he made a difference that speaks volumes of the selfless man he was and how much he loved people and helping make a difference in the lives of so many.
Bob will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him and he will always be remembered and live in so many hearts whose lives he touched in his journey through his life as evidenced by so many who have written about how Bob made a difference in their lives. 
Bob had a super sized sense of humor.
I am sure many of his beloved friends shared many happy times laughing with him and will remember and treasure those times with him.

Bob always made me laugh and left me with a smile and sometimes I would even think of what he said and even laugh later about it.
I saw Bob many times by himself and we would chat a bit and I always asked about you, his family. He always lit up and recounted something about his grandchildren individually, or collectively. His eyes sparkled as he recounted an incident or how fast they have grown and like the loving grandfather he was spoke with pride about something one or all of them did that they were involved with.
Cassie, he had that same twinkle in his eye when I asked how you and you family were doing.
Your dad grinned and told me how hectic your life is as a mom of three active boys and marveled how you were able to keep up with  them and sometimes joked they gave you a run for  your money, but it was clear by how he lit up talking about you and your family and how proud he was of you Cassie, and I just knew you were still his little girl but the grown up version. He was indeed a proud father and rightly so.
Marcia,  whenever I asked about you and said >to be sure to say hello to you and send my love to you he would come up with something funny and cute and that loving twinkle in his eyes and  great smile expressed his affection of you as it was about all of his family that meant everything and the world to him.

I am so glad I was able to get know Bob; as I really knew you and Cassie first.
I would have missed out on knowing what a great man he was in so many facets of his life, what a people magnet he was, and his wonderful nature and the devoted husband, father and grandfather that he was.
To know Bob on any level was to love Bob.
I will always remember some of the events at OPCC when he was around his grandsons and seeing them together it was so much fun as he horsed around with them and was like a kid himself. 
Bob has left a legacy of caring and making a difference in peoples lives; which is a example
of selfless love . Bob is a inspiration that one person can make a difference if they have a heart filled with love.
Bob's heart overflowed with love....
He will always be remembered with so much love..

Our sincerest condolences on Bob's passing.  Bob was a mentor to me as a professional but more important on how to be a good husband and father.  There are too many memories to share.  He will be greatly missed by so many.

Bob was such a nice person.I grew up with him attending many of the Berni family parties and although we weren't related, it felt like we were. I remember most his incredible sense of humor and witty jokes. From the time I was a young kid he would always shake my hand and do some crazy move with his hand that would just send an slightly painful but tickling sensation throughout my entire hand which always resulted in laughter.  Bob was also the best dressed man at every function. It could be a summer bbq and he was somehow comfortably dressed to the nines in a sport coat and slacks. He always seemed bigger than life. We are going to miss him

The passing of a loved one unexpectedly is a stressing time.  Marcia, I fondly remember sitting at the dinner table with Bob and yourself to celebrate the 50th reunion of our graduation from St. Turibius.  He impressed me as a warm and sincere human being.  Bob was happy, witty and funny.  As you and your family move forward there are many fond memories that will carry you through the darkness.  Take care and be well!

Seeing Bob when I came over to give his grandson Brendan guitar lessons on Sundays was always a high point in my week. You will seldom meet a man as kind, intelligent and fun to be around. My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Crotty. I met Bob over forty years ago when I was his banker at Harris Bank. I gained a deep appreciation and respect for his business acumen. and his tenacity as a lawyer. A few years after we met Bob was instrumental in helping me in launching my business which is approaching it's 38th year. A good man never dies. Chris and I were so sad to learn of Bob's passing. Chris was grateful for Bob's insights and leadership on the Private Bank Board. He was a mentor to Chris, and someone he really looked up to. I am so grateful to Bob for the times he came to visit Chris and take him out to lunch after Chris suffered his brain aneurysm. He was a true friend to Chris after his injury.
