Beloved mother of Jorge (Patricia T) Hernandez, Lupe’ (Esteban) Max, Martin (Lisa), Chaya (Miguel Rodriguez) and Rudy (Natalia T ) Hernandez. Cherished grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 20.
Dear sister to Ernestina Trieste, Concha Escamilla, Queta Hernandez, Pancho Gallegos, Antonio Gallegos, Margarita Flores, Manuel Gallegos and fond Tia to many nieces and nephews.
Victoria was a resident of Cicero for many years. Mom can always be found sitting either at her kitchen table either having a cup of coffee or enjoying a meal, she always had a good appetite. During the summer she’d be sitting yard her coffee in hand, while planning a to-do list for whom ever stopped by.
She took great pride in decorating her yard for every change of season holiday, or special event. The neighbors always looked forward to her thoughtful presentations.
She had close ties with Las Hermanas Dominica’s de Monclova Coahuila Mexico and Las Hermanas Clarisas de Saltillo Mexico
She has a welcoming heart and was Grandma everyone, to all our friends our neighbors and extended family.
Mom is now reunited with her loving husband Alberto Hernandez, granddaughter Charlotte S. Veraveic, sister Antonia Holguin and her parents Nicolas and Maria Gallegos.
