Anthony "Tony" B. Miller

ANTHONY B. "TONY" MILLER, 50, of Fort Wayne, was called home to the loving arms of his Savior on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at his residence, after a six year journey battling cancer. He had been employed at Nowak Supply Co. for 10 years. He previously had been an assistant manager for Roger's Markets for over 12 years. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church; was a graduate of New Haven High School and Ball State University; and member of ATO fraternity. "His greatest passions were faith, family and friends. He enjoyed golf, IU basketball, Notre Dame football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, NASCAR, reading, anything having to do with history and spending time at the lake. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. His life was a testament of his faith and he was an inspiration to all who knew him." Surviving are his wife, Molly; daughter, Taylor Miller at home; son, Trevor Miller at home; parents, Linda and Clifford Kocks of Harlan and Robert and Nancy Fancher of Fort Wayne; brothers, Chris (Shelly) Fancher of Fort Wayne and Tracy Fancher of New Haven; sister, Kelly (Aaron) Snyder of Harlan; stepsister, Debbie (Mark) Hartman of Fort Wayne; step brother-in-law, Jeff Keller of Fort Wayne; additional stepbrothers and stepsisters; and his golden retriever, Reggie. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Miller; stepfather, John Quinn; stepsister, Laura Keller; and grandparents, Richard and Helen Miller and Ralph and Alto Shepherd. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Douglas Croucher officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Private burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
