Ben Douglas Jump, 67, of Lagrange, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his home. Born April 21, 1949 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Estle and Audrey (Longsworth) Jump. Ben was a graduate of Central High School and was a supervisor for many years with companies such as Advanced Mixer, Irving Gravel, Owens Corning, and Fremont Plastics. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was quite the handyman and jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, being at the lake, and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Casterline) Jump of Lagrange; children, Samuel (Ashley) Jump of Portland, Ind., Ann Jump Goodpaster, Jennifer (Jimmy) Lichstinn, and Audra (Alison) Jump, all of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five siblings. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 4:00pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
