Betty J. Berry

Betty J Berry, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 21, 2018. Born on November 6, 1927, in Angola, she was a daughter of the late, Ford and Dorothy (Penick) Nichols. She retired in 1983, from Montgomery Ward Department Stores as a Fashion Manager after more than 17 years of service. Betty is survived by her children, Cindy (Jim) Cole, of Tallahassee, Florida, Rick Berry, of Fort Wayne, and Skip (Margo) Berry, of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Shawn, Tyler, and Brandon; great-grandson, Kole; sister, Gladys Nichols; and sister-in-law, Marie Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L Berry; sister, Mary Jane Thomas; and brothers, Gerald, Wayne, and Dean Nichols. Funeral service will be 6pm, Monday, September 24, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 4pm, until time of service. Inurnment will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
