

CHARLES F. LOGAN, 71, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Golden Years Homestead. Born on Aug. 22, 1938, in Faunsdale, Ala., he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from Raytheon in 2005, after 24 years of service. He was also a member of American Legion Post 47. He is survived by his wife, Catherine H.; daughters, Carrie E. (Joshua) Jackson of Harlan, Robin Killingbeck of Grass Valley, Calif., Teri (Ralph) Raschka of Michigan City, Ind., Mary Beth (Gregory) Blackford of Fort Wayne and Michelle Sizemore of Woodburn; sons, James (Rita) Killingbeck of of Crivitz, Wis. and Thomas (Paulina) Killingbeck of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Emily Logan of Hahira, Ga.; brother, Clinton (Sally) Logan of Seffner, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Harlan, with calling one hour prior to service at the church. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Preferred memorials to Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
